Mike Lloyd is a recovery professional, interventionist, and behavioral health specialist dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Mike now resides in Ocala, Florida with his wife and two children. His passion for helping others began early in life through his work with children on the autism spectrum and has since evolved into a lifelong commitment to supporting people in crisis and guiding them toward lasting recovery.
Mike began his personal recovery journey in June of 2011, an experience that has become one of his greatest assets in building genuine rapport and trust with the individuals and families he serves. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from West Chester University and has gone on to obtain several professional credentials, including Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), Recovery Coach Professional (RCP), and Certified Intervention Professional (CIP). Specializing in trauma, substance use disorders, complex family dynamics, crisis intervention, and case management, Mike has developed extensive experience working with both individuals and families navigating difficult behavioral health challenges. Over the past ten years, he has professionally facilitated more than one hundred individual and family interventions and gained a passion for teaching..
As a recovery coach and interventionist, Mike believes in listening more than speaking, meeting clients exactly where they are, and empowering them to discover their own path toward healing. As an interventionist, he is trained in multiple intervention modalities and often utilizes the invitational intervention model, carefully selecting the approach that offers the greatest chance of success for each unique situation.
